What Is the IRC's Primary Service?
We provide a toll-free telephone number, fax service, and this website to encourage and permit inquirers to
make immediate contact with our experienced and caring referral staff. Our staff is prepared to answer
questions about intervention, analyze background information, and make referrals to interventionists in the
inquirer's home location. We have built - and continue to enlarge - a list of intervention specialists throughout
the United States.
Additionally, we provide descriptive information on the intervention process by distributing copies of articles,
pamphlets, brochures, and other printed materials. Our staff can provide information to help link families with
self-help recovery support groups, as well as professionally directed treatment.
